ABOUT

Life can be overwhelming. Sometimes just reading the news is enough to send your nervous system into a spiral. Add in chronic health issues (endometriosis, fibroids, autoimmune flare-ups), everyday stress (work, caretaking, bills), and unpredictable heartbreak (loss, breakups, grief)—and suddenly, the small joys start to feel out of reach.

That’s why I created Good Time Committee.

After years of working in content and branding for small, beautiful, values-driven brands, I watched the same pattern play out again and again: passion took a backseat. Pressure to please investors, “be lean,” hack the algorithm, and slash costs often led to products being stripped of their soul—just to survive.

The way we consume is broken. It pushes us toward cheap, mass-produced things from faceless brands who erase the humanity from their work—and then convince us we need those things. As a marketer, I saw how this demanded the use of hollow buzzwords, fake urgency, and emotional manipulation just to sell. And I couldn’t do it anymore.

At Good Time Committee, every product is handpicked from small, women-owned brands who are doing things differently—makers who care about ingredients, process, and integrity. They create from a place of love, not pressure. Every item we carry is here to make life a little easier, a little more beautiful, and a little more joyful.

Whether it’s:

  • Self-expression (jewelry, accessories, home goods)

  • Self-soothing (natural skincare, candles)

  • Joyful celebration (frames, gifts, rituals)
...this is about creating moments that feel like a breath of fresh air in a too-much world.

You won’t find excessive marketing here.
No constant emails. No pushy SMS blasts.
Our nervous systems don’t need more noise.

Instead, you’ll receive the occasional email when we find something truly special to share. Yes, we’ll work with the algorithm (because reality), and yes, we’ll run occasional sales (for inventory purposes). But you won’t see gimmicks or false scarcity. Our pricing is honest—meant to support the brands we love, and give me (a real human) enough to grow this thoughtfully, without selling out or scaling beyond our values.

Our packaging is minimal— instead of unnecessary branded waste. As a creative outlet, I have been creating pouches and bags out of gorgeous remnant fabric to be part of the unboxing experience.  Because sustainability matters, but so does soul.

Whether you’re looking for a treat for yourself during a tough time or something special to celebrate someone you love, Good Time Committee is here to be a soft place to land. A place to shop with intention, find joy in the everyday, and support women doing honest work.

If you find something you love here, that’s a win.
If you simply discover a new brand you adore, that’s a win too.
If not, I hope you find what you’re looking for somewhere else—and that it makes your day a little brighter.
